I have taught this class several times, and find that a great deal of scaffolding is important for you as you create your learning module. For many, this is the first time they have created an online or blended learning experience for others.
In order to support you during this project, we will have Twitter meetings during the first week of the class, Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00 AKDT. From then on - it will be Monday at 4:00. Each of you should sign up to host one of these meetings. In the past as I have facilitated complex projects, I find that having student-hosted twitter sessions during which you pose questions to help find out how your classmates are doing, and how they are approaching these projects becomes invaluable to the learning experience.
You may certainly interact with your colleagues on Twitter at #thattech at any time. But Thursdays will be dedicated to the development of the online module, and your understanding of how the project should progress - in addition to your own role as facilitator of the project.
Please sign up to host a Twitter session here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ajyWc1Mpdnu3UMRCTIl-rPXBO12k2SMJEgiwflo6hE8/edit?usp=sharing
As the time comes to facilitate the Twitter Session, I will email to help you and your co-hosts plan questions if needed. Also, while topics are listed for each week, they are very broad, and are at your discretion. Mainly they are intended to help us stay on track with the project.
Thank you.
Lee
